The aim of the Friends
of the school (PTFA) is to raise funds through a variety of events to
benefit every child at Gelli Primary School. All PTFA meetings are very informal and in addition to organising fundraising events, gives parents, grandparents, carers and staff the opportunity to get together and discuss ideas which will benefit our school. Over the past few years, funds raised by the PTFA have purchased many items for the children to use and enjoy. These items include: |

| In addition to the fundraising, the PTFA also organise social events for the children outside of normal school hours. In 2007, the first Gelli Primary Leavers Ball was held at Ton Pentre Football Club. This event was a huge success and will now become an annual event, which will hopefully become a tradition at Gelli Primary that current pupils will look forward to and that past pupils will look back on with fantastic memories of Gelli primary. Anyone can become a member of the PTFA, all you need to do is spare an hour of your time once every term and come along to our meetings. All ideas are very welcome.
