The School Council logo was designed by Alicia Davies in 2006. Mrs. Dyer organised a compertition which Alicia won.

Gelli Primary School is a fantastic school and we all love it! We receive a very good education at our school. We do lots of fun activities; here are some of the lessons; PE, History, Geography, Science, RE, PSE, ICT and we even have
 specialist teachers coming in to teach Poetry and Welsh. The teachers are really GREAT! and help us when we need it. We have an excellent playground and lots of activities to do, such as football, cricket, skipping and on some days, we even do have a canopy and adventure playground for the younger pupils! Every day at break time we have a healthy tuck shop selling fruit. We have our very own ICT suite consisting of fifteen up-to-date computers and every classroom has two of their own, as well as a smart board. The School Council has two pupils from each class and they represent the pupil’s ideas and thoughts. We discuss new ideas and plans to help improve our school. We are going to lobby our AM Mr. Leighton Andrews to see if we can have traffic calming outside our school. Please help us to make a difference. Welcome to Gelli!
